Plastc – Could This Be The End Of Wallets – Or At Least The End Of Large Wallets?

If you have several bank and loyalty cards – And lots of people do – It can be a bit of a stretch on your wallet. This innovation from Plastc could dispense with all of that. All you do is scan all of your bank and loyalty cards into the rechargeable Plastc Card via an included card reader plugged into your Android or Apple mobile phone – It can hold up to 20 – The App holds all of this information securely, it can then be sent to the Plastc card via Bluetooth and there you have it – Plastc Card will work in all the places you shop and frequent. Plus, with NFC and Chip and PIN capabilities a software update away, you’ll soon be ready for the future of payments.

Oh and another clever feature, if you lose or mislay the card, it will erase the data after a predetermined time-scale rendering it useless to anyone else. When it comes back into Bluetooth range it will re-sync the data back from your mobile back onto the card. If you lose your ‘phone then the App has PIN and facial recognition protection.

At $155 or £96 it isn’t cheap, but you can’t argue with its convenience. Due to arrive in summer 2015
